About Andrea Pettie

Art and family have always gone hand in hand for Andrea Pettie. Her father, Ron the Art Coach, passed his artistic skills and deep love for painting down to her, providing many years of warm guidance and mentorship. To build on that foundation, Andrea also studied under the great Margot Lennartz, ultimately earning an Associate of Arts degree and a certificate in Computer Graphics and Design.

Today, Andrea is proud to step into her father's shoes, taking over his classes at both the Pasadena Art Studio and the beautiful L.A. Arboretum. Keeping the legacy and heartfelt teachings of "Ron the Art Coach" alive has become her most important mission. Bringing that same passion and warmth to every class, Andrea provides her students with the same gentle encouragement and support they need to bloom and achieve their own artistic goals.

When she isn't teaching, Andrea beautifully combines her love for art and animals. She paints custom acrylic pet portraits and generously donates all of the proceeds to support the wonderful, life-saving work of The Ontario Rescue (www.TORescue.org).
